Basement Sump Pumps for Sewage & Ground Water Control
Newton provide a broad range of submersible sump pumps and sump chambers and an extensive list of ancillary products. Whether you need to control clear ground water, grey water, effluent or sewage, Newton supply a complete range of the highest specification pumps available for all of your pumping requirements.
sement Pumps with Type C Waterproofing
Cavity drain waterproofing systems are defined by BS 8102:2009 Code of Practice for Protection of Structures Against Water from the Ground as ‘Type C – Drained Protection’. With this design, it is accepted that water could enter the building and an internal cavity is provided to depressurize and manage the water. Water is removed from the structure via natural drainage or pumping systems.
Newton Titan-Pro White packaged sump system is designed specifically to be used with Newton System 500. The adjustable neck allows for the sump to be installed at a fixed height relative to the slab so that the connection in from the Newton drainage system and the pump discharge line are made above the concrete. The sump can be used with single and twin pumps and twin pumps with twin discharge lines for greater pump efficiency.
The unique sump shape together with a choice of inlet and outlet positions allow for connections in and out of the chamber to be made to either a side wall or to a corner.

Clean and Ground Water Pumps
This pumping range is to be used with our Newton System 500 cavity drain membrane system to provide a continuous and reliable mechanical protection system.
Our clean and ground water pumps are well engineered pumps capable of removing large volumes of water to high heads. They can carry clean water and solids up to 7mm (depending on pump) which enables the pumps to have the combined benefit of removing clean water from our cavity drain membrane systems and removing water from earth retaining light wells. The NP range comes in various options of being manual or automatic while the CP range only comes in automatic.
pump range has a 3 year warranty which can be extended to 5 years if installed and maintained by a Newton Specialist Basement Contractor. The CP pump range comes with as years warranty which can be extended to 3 years if installed and maintained by a Newton registered contractor.
- Low cost and high quality clean water pump – NP400
- High performance pump – NP750
- Low cost and high quality pumping range for removal of ground water – CP Pumps
Effluent Pumps (Not Sewage)
The Newton effluent pumping range enable clients to utilize the Newton Titan Pro White or Trojan Sump System to act as a drainage point for not only the System 500 but for sinks, dishwashers, showers and washing machines.
The pump use for this scenario is our NP400W and NP750W. This high spec pumping range has a flow rate of 200 litres per minute at a 5 metre head for the NP400W and 300 litres at a 5 metre head for the NP750W with an impressive 35mm free passage
A 3 Years warranty is provided when the pump is installed and maintained by a Newton Specialist Basement Contractor.
- Medium head and medium performance pump – NP400W
- High head and high performance effluent pump – NP750W
Newton Waterproofing Systems can offer clients the ability to remove foul waste from the basement by either means of pre-packaged sump and pump foul systems or bespoke 24hr storage systems. This enables the client to correctly implement the right system for the purpose required.
- High quality sewage cutter pump – SP750
Newton basement pumps come with a warranty, which can be extended when serviced by a Newton Specialist Basement Contractor. See product datasheets for specific product warranties.

“We frequently use Newton Titan pumping systems alongside the Basedrain with battery back-up support to receive water from the Newton System 500 cavity drain waterproofing system. The unique sump shape makes it easier to set up the connections in and out of the chamber”
